Welcome back to Total Reroll, our Dungeons and Dragons podcast! Adam has been playing some some good old fashioned D&D with some friends in London, except it isn't old fashioned because it's 5th edition. Our DM Ian has been running us through the 'Hoard of the Dragon Queen' storyline, and we picked up a few sessions in with our first episode (we decided to record a bit late, but you can check out some of the previous sessions in Adam's write ups that start here).

After following the dragon cult through a portal to the Hunting Lodge, this week the gang attempts to sneak up on a patrol of trolls and ambush drakes. Lets see how that goes...

Welcome back to The Weekly Rapture, brought to you by The Lost Lighthouse.

This week we chatted about FOX's new X-Men TV shows Hellfire and Legion, the possibility of a Y: The Last Man show and D&Diesel, while Gary's brain melts down and Adam just starts to do his job for him.
The main talking point, inspired by John Walters and the talk of the next Die Hard film being an origin story/prequel/preboot/whatever, is unnecessary prequels! We discuss why the movie industry seems obsessed with churning them out when they seem to be out of ideas, some of the worst offenders and some of your least favourite prequels too!

Any prequels you think are particularly awful? Any you hope to never see? Are there any that you think actually turned out to be good, worthwhile films? Let us know! You can get in touch through Facebook or on Twitter @lost_lighthouse, email us at thelostlighthouse@live.co.uk or sound off in the 'leave a reply' box at the bottom of the podcast page on the website.

This week we joined back up with our main campaign, as the gang headed back to the portal at Castle Naerytar to follow the dragon cult to the Hunting Lodge and Skyreach. That's what we were supposed to be doing anyway...

This week is part two of our side story involving a group of alternative characters, agents from various organisations working together to track down a stolen magical item and stop a young necromancer from wreaking havoc on the sword coast. We left off last time having captured him, as a red dragon crawls its way up from the nearby volcano to take part in whatever nefarious plan he has...

Welcome back to The Weekly Rapture, brought to you by The Lost Lighthouse.

This week we recorded in the same room! As a result this is probably the most rambling, tangential episode we have done in a very long time. And that is really saying something. We chat about all the cool teasers for the upcoming Jessica Jones Netflix series, the Back to the Future 30th anniversary celebrations, the talks about a Watchmen series on HBO, the excellent new title for Prometheus 2 and Transformers films coming out on a regular basis until you are a distant memory and the universe enters heat-death. We also talked about blue dongs and 2009 a lot, and waste about 10 minutes trying to remember the plot of Transformers 3.

Leading on from talking about Not-Prometheus 2, 3 and 4, and Transformers 5, 6, 7 and 8, this week's main talking point (sort of) was how many directors and studios are announcing all their upcoming movies and sequels for the next 500 years, regardless of how good the first film was or how well it did.  Gone are the days when a film was written as a single, tight entity and then if a sequel was conceived of then it was green lit. Now we know every genre film coming out until 2020, which is simultaneously exciting, not exciting at all, and a terrifying reminder of our own mortality. What do you think about it? Let us know!

If you have any thoughts. questions or opinions anything this week you can as always get in touch through Facebook or on Twitter @lost_lighthouse, email us at thelostlighthouse@live.co.uk or sound off in the 'leave a reply' box at the bottom of the podcast page on the website.

This week we have slight detour from the main plot for various reasons, and so we were given new characters on the night for a two part side story involving a consortium of members of various groups tasked with tracking down a powerful magical item stolen by a necromancer to use in dragon cult-related misdeeds. I apologise in advance for the various voices we used!

Welcome to a special podcast episode from The Lost Lighthouse, starring Adam and Kii. Last week our intrepid press team went to the EGX video game convention at the NEC in Birmingham to check out some new games and a load of indie games.

There has been a few articles up on the site this week from them talking about some of the games they played, and in this podcast we generally chat about how the convention, how it compared to last year, some of the funny stuff they saw and of course all the various games they played.
Apologies for the audio quality on Adam's end, there was a small screw up with the recording!
